mine wil b 2 weeks on mon, apr 26. well the reason for mine is because the dealer say that "the front driveshaft is shaking and helps make the clunk noise and we need to get a new driveshaft for the front, which is STILL IN JAPAN!!!". my hunch is that the front driveshaft was perfectly ok b4 the rear one was replaced, until, i think, they broke the front driveshaft. Hey, my hunch is really strong cuz i had my glove box fixed in my rx300, they created a squeaking noise in the dashboard that was never fixed! So now they've broken something mechanical I shudnt hv done this replacement with my local lexus dealer.
btw, geewiss, wat year is ur gx???

In most states, the lemon law only applies when the dealer fails to repair a recurring problem 3-4 times. Therefore it probably won't apply in your case.
If the part is still in Japan, there is very little your dealer can do about it. Ask for something that the dealer can do, such as a GX loaner. Most Lexus dealerships provide loaner cars for long warrranty work.
