1998 LS400 oil filter location
New to me 1998 LS400, I'm wanting to changet the oil and filter but have not located the filter yet, where do I look? Thanks for the help.

I would imagine that it's at the same place as the GS400 (same 1UZFE engine):
Oil drain plug: Passenger side of the car but near the middle of the engine (about 2 feet inside from the front bumper, and 2 feet inside from the passenger's side), accessible w/o removing any plastic covers.
Oil filter location: Driver's side of the car (about 2 feet inside from the front bumper, and 2 feet inside from the driver's side). You will need to remvoe about 3 bolts to get some of the plastic engine undercover off, then you can bend it forward at the crease, exposing the oil filter.
To make it easier, I just jack up my car to do both (esp. as my oil catch pan is a bit high. Shouldn't have too much trouble
