SC wont start....help
Hey guys, well as some of you may know I bought a 94 SC300 5-speed with some front damage. Then thing is that when I got it it had no key, so I just had a key made ($98.....crazy) and tried to start but it woudlnt start. It just keeps cranking and cranking. Now what I was wondering is if theres some sort of kill switch on the car if it is involved in an accident. I know some cars have one like on Nissan Quests. A friend of mine had the same problem after his van was hit. Then he found a little button under the left front kickpanel. He pressed it and tried again. Van started up without any problems. Apperantly if the van was ever involved in any accident it killed the fuel pump so that it doesnt keep running. I was wondering if anyone knew if the SC's have something like that too???

Nevermind guys. I found the problem. It was the coil wire. It had some major corrosion on thie inside. Dont know how it could have happened. I found it purely by accident. I was taking it off when I was about to check the distributor cap and realized that it was kinda crunchy when you bend it. I sliced open the insulation and there was nothing but rust. So I'm waiting for the new coil wire to come in. Wow.....what a pain in the ***. Good thing I found it.
