Default how can i completly clean the master cylinder resivoir?

I was flushing my brake fluid today, and i noticed clouds of dirt, so i siphoned off the old fluid, and i used some photographer's wipes to clean out the resivoir. If I take it out to clean it up, do i need to bleed the master cylinder as well?

Bleeding is needed whenever air enter the braking system. Removing the reservior will most likely allow air to enter the system. I would flush the system with new fluid while at it.
