Interesting - Oil Filters are the Same...

... on a GS400 and an LX470. Means I need less inventory in my garage.

they'll fit I-6 M and JZ motors too, so one filter for a LS400 and a Cressida.

The oil filter on my SC300 is the same as my Land Cruiser as well. Interesting since the SC is a 6-cylinder, and the LC is a V8!

Toyota/Lexus uses a different oil filter for their 6cyl. and 8cyl. engines. The one for the 8cyl. engine is just slightly taller...the filters fit just fine switched around. That's why many dealers use just the cheap US-made 08922-02011 oil filter for both 6cyl. and 8cyl. Toyota engines. You pay one price for an oil change - why not stick you with the cheapest filter?
