Default Fixing the wind noise on my RX300

I have been dealing with this problem for quite some time now and I'm not sure how to fix it. Ever since I bought my RX I have been having problems with wind noise coming from the window sill. The wind noise is worse at higher speeds. I have found a service bulletin about the wind noise and took it to my dealer who said he replaced all of the window sill strips but I still get a lot of wind noise. Is their anything that I can do to fix this problem myself since my car is out of warranty and I don't feel that the dealer knows what he is doing. Thanks

There is a wind noise kit. Peel the glass runner channel off and then apply some of these strip to the corner and it will fix your problem.

The wind noise kit is $40 through Lexus. We also sell those also. $30 at your cost.

vinster29, what year is your car? Consider a signature.

I;m sorry I didn't read the post carefully. I never experience any wind noise from the door jam. There is a TSB on this? I didn't know. Usually you would get a lot of wind noise around the corner of your window. By removing your window channel runner and apply the wind noise foam. It would help seal your leak. But make sure you put back like where it was, otherwise your window will come down when it hit the top.

Default Wind noise kit

Sorry, I meant window noise coming from the window sill. You were right JPI. The wind noise is coming from the corner of the window. So what does the wind noise kit include and do you know anyone who has tried it and now has a wind noise free vehicle. I have a 99' RX300 so would it fit for that.

vinster29, you probably need TSB NV010-98 .
See ALLDATA at http://www.alldata.com/index.html
or CLexus.
My '99 did not have this issue among many other rattles and windshield noise IMO, FWIW.
