Default Transmission problems with GS'?

I noticed when I accelerate with light pressure on the gas, when the car is shifting from 2 to 3, it slips, and kicks, giving you the feeling that someone rear ended you..Anyone else have a problem like this? Lexus says they found no problems..

If you have a friend with a GS or your Lexus dealer have another pre-owned GS that is the same model/year as yours, then you can probably compare your GS with another.

Do you have genuine T-4 atf in your tranny and it is still RED, if not I'd flush it out..........Also ask the tech to erase all memory in your vehicle( ****ing points etc..) so your car can relearn your driving habits.....and take it easy the first few miles.......drive like an old lady.....

I have an '02 GS 300. I've also experienced this same problem of the car slipping and then kicking when going from 2 to3. It's an intermitten thing that happens from time to time although it hasn't happened in a while. I took it to back to the dealer shortly after I got the car and they said the same thing that they couldn't find anything wrong. Since my car is a lease and I won't have to worry about the tranny after the warranty is up, it's not worth my time to keep bringing it back until they find the problem.
