They are saying the 2016 LC/LX will be designated a 300 series versus the current 200 series.

They will get updated for MY2016 but it won't be called the 300 series as it will still be a 200.

If the Google images are correct, then the front and the back look really nice, however the side view made it look somewhat like a small bus (no pun intended).

Not one image on google is correct or close to being so. It is going to be a 'BIG MINOR CHANGE' that is how it has been described. Should enter production in August and officially announced by then. Pics could leak before.

Big minor means a bigger front mug like the GX? That is very very ugly. Hope it does not happen but a lot are predicting it.

i agree some angles it doesnt look good, but overall its much better than 2010-2013 versions.

the gx and lx each have their pluses and minuses right now until they redo the lx

I wish the LC had a more distinct look and not the general "lexus front".
I guess I just like the more old style boxy land cruiser look.

No information on the next gen. LX and LC, however I did read a blip about the refreshed 200 for 2016. The LX photo is thought to be a rendering, while using the current interior in the article, while the LC appears to be from a brochure and probably pretty accurate.
