Anyone running AT tires on their LX570
Thinking Michelin LTX AT'S 275/55/20. These are P-metric not LT rated and weigh about the same as the oem 285/50/20's. Anyone try these?

I just installed Toyo Open Country AT II Xtreme size 285/55/20 on mine. Rubs slightly at stock height and badly when low. However, the rubbing is only on the soft plastic inner fenders so I am going to try and get them to bend with a heat gun when I get a chance. I'll post pics later.

Michellin LTX's
When I bought my 2013 LX 2 years ago, I asked the dealer to ensure it was equipped with Michellin Latitudes instead of the alternate Dunlops. The Lats worked OK the first winter season when the treads were substantial. However, at 20K miles, the treads had deteriorated to about 40%, and were worthless this winter (despite balancing and rotation every 5K miles). Rather than spending $1K for another 20K miles, I went with the LTXs in the slightly different profile. I had put a set of LTXs on my GX 2 years ago, and after 20K miles, they still have at least 2/3s the original tread. I have only about 1K miles on the LX's LTX's, but so far I'm really pleased. Quiet on dry pavement, comfortable ride, and good traction in snow. Hopefully the treadwear will measure up to that on my GX.

I went with OEM latitudes, at 30k miles want 40k from them ( bought from discount tire they have a 55k wear warranty) then I will go with a different size since 6 year 70k warranty will be gone. Plus I live in Austin Texas, no snow and my 100 is running BFG AT/KO's. If I lived in Colo and had to deal with a lot of snow I would want the LTX/MS, good choice.
