Default What year did the smart card become part of the LUX PKG?

Looking at 2011 LX with 8K on it. Excellent shape. Corporate Lease. It's a CPO, which may be a waste of money as it was commissioned on 4/2012 so that puts the original warranty to expire on 4/16 and of course the balance of the 50K.

Being a CPO I've been told it's supposed to have the mats and all the keys and manuals present? I'm not to bent on the mats or the manuals but the remotes are costly to replace. It also has the OEM remote start. Remote does not change only he brain of the keyless system. They are telling me it only has one smart key. I can't find any place that states what you get besides the 3 years or 100K warranty with the CPO certification.

It's got the LUX PKG, does this include the smart card? If I'm paying for the CPO process I want what's supposed to come with the cost.

Thanks

What year guys did the smart card become part of the LUX PKG? They all came with smart fobs otherwise you would still be at the dealership trying to get home...duh!

You can add the card, I've already figured that out.

Trying to figure out what the dealer is trying to leave off the CPO. They already removed the mats, manuals, towing electrics hook-up outlet, cargo net, cargo mat, draw bar, trailer brake harness. Why is the million dollar question. They did leave the locking lug nuts, I'm guessing they would have to come up with replacing them with he non-locking lugs which costs money. It's like everything that was not bolted down they removed?

I told the sales manager if I had gotten home and the outlet was missing you would have heard me! Also they only have 1 fob so they claim.

As I said, you should get 2 fobs and a smart card.

My smartcard was missing though.

Most of the other stuff you listed should also come with it. Very surprised they would remove the trailer hitch WTF?

Dealers tend to remove hitches from cars that would not normally be expected to tow, sedans etc.
Perception by the next owner that it had been overworked or overloaded. It would be counter productive
to do a hitch-endectomy on an LX which can routinely tow 6500 lbs. Might they have needed it and the wiring for another unit they sold earlier?

The CPO parameters call for two (2) key/fobs and an Owner's Manual. Lots of details such as having four (4) Matching Brand & Style tires (the spare doesn't have to match, gotta be there however) with at least 50% tread depth. Most OEM tires are 11/32nd so 6/32, brakes must have at least 50% original value pad thickness also.
