I have had 3 LX 470s and just purchased a 2009 LX 570 with 24,000 miles. Do you think it will be as reliable and tough as the 470s as the miles increase. I had high miles on the 470s and other than routine maintenance had very little issues to deal with. I know the 570 has a few more bells & whisles than the 470. I love the car. Thanks for your input.

Mechanically it'll never ever let you down, I say that with a lot of confidence. And thinking about it the electronic should not let you down either. My mom and dad too have had at 3 LX's too, all bought new BTW, we had a '96 LX450 went strong for 349,000 and was still going strong when we sold it in '03 for '04 LX470 and we had that till '09 for 250,000 and traded in for a '10 LX570 and my dad sold that one with 70,000 5 or 6 months ago when he went to India for an extended stay. I bought my '13 1 month after my parents sold theirs, mine just hit 10,000 after 5 months of owning it, you won't regret the decision of going team LX over and over again.

Owned both and while I think the 570 will go a long way, it would be hard to beat the 470. Only time will tell.

We have 107k miles on our '08. No issues and runs as good as new. We have been religious with maintenance, which probably helped, though.

The LX470 always seemed more smooth and sophisticated to me mechanically. Every time I see one, and there are many on the road, I smile and remember mine.
