Rock Deflector for the LX-570?
I had a rock deflector on my 100 Series Landcruiser and it looked and worked great. Now with a new windshield being installed on Tuesday, I would love to have one for my LX-570. Does anyone know if there is one available?

Amazingly after I put on this little strip I never had a chipped window again. I'm sure a big rock would hit, but I live in Colorado where we sand the roads in the winter and I had the Land Cruiser for 10 years after adding the strip with no rock cracks after putting the strip on.
I just replaced my windshield on my LX-570 and after owning it for under a year. Maybe a coincidence but I don't think it was. I think it just gives enough wind force on the highway to add some protection.

I just don't know why the manufacturer of this strip did not change it for the new model.

There is one on eBay as of last night. Shows it mounted too!
Shipping was too much. Then again so is the cost of the LX, so the 40 bucks to ship is a drop in the bucket, right?
You may also want to see if the Toyota Land Cruiser is the same.
The holes are in the hood so there must be one available. Or you may want to try Auto Anything.
I'm looking for one myself. I'll report back once I find something.

I've done some hunting around. They are called Bug Deflectors not Rock Deflectors.
If you are interested in getting one use this link to request it from WeatherTech, they usually sell for around $60.

But living in Florida, there are times when in the "Love Bug" season, the carnage is so bad that you can not see out of your windshield. The little over sexed insects can overwhelm any attempt of your wipers/washers to remove them.
Their guts have also been know to remove paint!
