I have the damn cooler and hardly have any place to keep my stuff. Where and how do you keep your things in the car? What do you do for storage? Is there a cover of sort to put in the cooler for storage?

I have a 4"x8" x9" tall sack with string handles in my cooler (loaded with the stuff I need in my console). On the rare occasion that I have used the cooler, I pull the sack out and put it on the floor. Both my 11 and 13 have the cooler. I may have used it 3 times. My 09 LX did not have it, liked it better!

More than enough storage in the cooler for me, I have never used the cooler function.

Works for me too, though we also use it for our baby's bottle . Cooler works like a charm!

I like the cooler but takes up all the storage. Compartment without cooler has a tray and ample storage. There must be something out there that we can use.

Some third party individual should make a tray that fits in the top of the cooler.

I do agree that the glove box is poorly laid out but there is does it for me for the few items I keep in their. For most of my storage, I have an old camera bag with my hitch and other goodies in the back,

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the cool box and put in the standard compartment? We rarely use the cool box and it is a total waste of space.

My 2011 GX460 had more storage in the doors, and front center compartment. Even the glove box seems smaller in the LX.

Going to try and find something at the container store but it's so deep, stupid idea, and glove box is poor as well

Spoiled now I would never buy another w/o the cooler. We use the truck for all are highway road trips. We're looking @ '23's & the frig is on our list of must haves.

Tray for cooler box does exist. I bought it on Amazon and works great.
