2013 lx570
So now that Lexus has officially shown off the freshened 2013 LX570, what is everyone's thoughts?
The main changes seem to be the new front bumper, grille and lights (with LED and HID), taillights, wheels and 4WD terrain selections.
I personally am in love with the freshened 2013 Land Cruiser that Toyota showed a couple days ago. I think between the two, I would take the Land Cruiser for it's more traditional off-road looks.

I like pretty much everything they did.
The grille, certainly the headlights, and the chrome (borderline overdone, some may argue, but it looks ok) look great. I looked at more pictures in leftlanenews.com. The gauge cluster looks nice and the new seats look more comfortable and the grey stitching looks fantastic on the black leather. The individual screens for the RSES are also a nice touch.
Dislikes? The wheels. They don't look as cheap as those on the GX460, but they don't blend as well with the vehicle as the current ones do (IMHO)... That is the only area where I can say I prefer my 2010. As for everything else, I'll take it! My wife, of course, may say otherwise.
I can't help it but wonder what they will do to the price tag...

Wow! That 2013 Landcruiser really looks good. It looks exactly how a Landcruiser should look. THe LX570 looks good and I'm gald to see that they finally added HID lights but I'm still on the fence about how they executed the new hourglass grill into the truck. It seems almost like it's forced and doesn't seem to flow all that well whereas the Landcruiser looks like it's been designed like that from the beginning.
Now with all of the updates to the Landcruiser, it seems that it has finally fit the price they were charging. to the '13 LC. Now you have a lengendary name in the LC along with the proper content and design. Lovin' it!

The LC is getting the HID lights so I don't see why the LX570 wouldn't when it's younger borther is.

I'm not sure if this link will work but it should be a link to the LX570 product sheet from pressroom.toyota.com and it shows that the LX570 is getting HID lights.

Does anyone know how to get the HID XENON headlamps for the current LX570 gen (2011) since they were available from the factoy for the NON-US Market ? Or will the 2013 LX HID's fit the 2011?

Were they really available for the non-US market? Didn't know!
As far as fitting the 2013 HIDs on, even if the headlight assemblies are the exact same size and fit perfectly (which I imagine won't be the case, even if we are talking small differences), I would imagine that the cost would be prohibitive, beginning with the headlamp housings themselves and going down the list to wiring harnesses (potentially), etc.
XenonDepot's H11 kit is your best bet (what many of us have done), and of course trading in is always an option (what I would love to do if I had an infinite supply of money, as I love the new design [minus the wheels]).

Here's the full list... Boy, I'd love one of these: Noble Spinel Mica with black interior, RSES and LL package. I'll just dream... No car purchases for me in a while - that whole divorce thing (as in the threat, if I go forward with another car purchase)
On a related note, it's interesting that there's still no KDSS on the LX even though the LC has it.

Lexus has indeed added HID's to the low beams. I read it in the press release on www. pressroom.toyota.com
