Where does trailer brake controller harness plug in?
I have a 2009 LX570. I know it is pre-wired for an electronic trailer brake controller (which was a bear to wire into my LX470) since it came with a wiring harness and a plug. But I can't figure out where to plug the harness into the car. Dealer says the plug is in the vicinity of the driver's left knee, but I'll be darned if I can find it. I can't find any info in the manual or on the web. Any suggestions where to look?

I have a 2011 and the trailer electrical plug-in was installed to the right of the trailer hitch. However, it wasn't there when we got the vehicle, so the dealer installed it for free. I think the LX570 is pre-wired for the trailer, but the plug isn't installed when purchased.
Check with your dealer and see if they will install it for you since is sounds like it isn't there now.

CSX4909, I ended up having the trailer brake controller installed by the dealer. The plug is under the dash and not readily accessible-which sort of defeats the purpose of the prewiring-the service rep said it is not something you would want to try and install yourself.
