Navigation Update
Is there an available update for the navigation database for the LX 570? Mine is a first year (2008) and it seems to me I am missing a bunch of new roads and restaurants, etc.

You can get a new dvd from the dealer (or take your chance on eBay) for a couple hundred bucks. The new updates are available every year in September or October.

The above poster is correct. When I had my LX470 updated it was like a new navigational system but it was not cheap.

Ditto to that. I got an email from them yesterday, literally, announcing the release of the 2010 maps, available for shipment on Sept. 14th, I believe. Now, is the system on the 2008 DVD or hard drive?

Not as simple as i imagined.
And can't be cheap either if you have to go through Lexus service department to get it done. You apparently have to pay for the "map key" and possibly the map DVD itself!
