Pics of my 08 Lx & friends' LCs on the dunes
Hello dear enthusiasts;
I wanted you to share with us the pleasure of our open deserts, the deserts of Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
A charm that has engulfed us and made us fall in love with SUVs of all kinds.
This was a self organaized outing of Toyota & Lexus lovers.
my friends took some pics, and I wanted to share them with you.
Please forgive me if the pics does not rise to your expectations.

I have been lurking on this board for a long time, but looking at your pictures, I had to come out of the closet and post for the first time.
WOW. This is LC and LX heaven! You and your brother did a great job taking these pictures. I am myself a photographer and appreciate nice pictures when I see them.
How did the LX do in the sand compared to the LC's?

Well, thanks guys for posting.
And thank you very much Alaska for asking.
Lx engine is as you know 5.7L, while LC is 4.6 in my country. Therefor,Lx is more powerful on dunes than LCs.
One important thing one needs to do ,2 things in fact, in the dunes;
1. lower the tires air pressure to 20 psi.
2. Engage the differential lock for better traction on sand and to deactivate VSC.

Man, this is about as cool as it gets! My family was totally blown away by these photos. We're major off roaders up here in Canada and spend alot of time riding the dunes. My wifes lx is our new sand rail!!! Great photos!!
