LX 570 Accidents
#2
wow...kind of a strange question....the LX570 is equiped with a pre-crash system to avoid such tragedies. It is also equiped with curtain airbags that protects the occupants of the car. Hopefully no one gets into an accident and hope everyone stays safe

I dont know that its a strange question. There is no information on any of the goverment web sites or insurance web sites that give it a rating. So the only other way to find out how it handles accidents and protect its passengers is to ask the drivers.

LX570 Accident
I was involved in a rear end collision while driving my LX570. Actually I was stopped in the left lane of traffic to make a left turn when I was rear-ended by a vehicle traveling at approx 50 mph. My 12 year old son, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, and I walked away basically fine, just very sore the next morning. My vehicle didn't fare as well...approx $10,000 in damage... However, I must say I was most impressed how the LX570 handled during the collision. The headrests popped forward at amazing speed, so we did not suffer whiplash.

I rammed a BMW E46 3 series about a year ago. About 2,500 in repairs. No one was hurt, occupants were texting "omg my brother just got into a car accident" was the only real injury from both party.

My Sister In Law was decapitated when she underran the side of a Trailer.
No, no protection as the collision just took the Roof off slightly above hood level all the way to the tailgate.
