Your thoughts on the pricing of the new LX?

Personally, i think its a bit high. However, if you go with a base model and save nearly $6000 by not getting the upgraded stereo and lexus link, its the same price practically as the TLC loaded.
I plan on ordering a base Lexus LX570 after Christmas.

Compared to the overpriced LC, the LX570 may not be too bad.
But as I've posted on other threads, I think the LX570 and TLC should not have been priced so high. There is more competition in the space than there was when the LX470 was new. And Lexus doesn't yet have a hybrid LX to compete with the GL diesel and forthcoming Q7 diesel. Then throw in a weakening economy...and imho not so great exterior styling. Imho, once the initial rush is over, the LX570 will not sell that well.
I may still get one myself but if the GL320 CDI is legal where I am by the time the LX570 starts selling at well below msrp, it will be a horserace.

I am planning to check the waters of a Lexus dealer about 200 miles from home , JM Lexus in Margate , Florida.
I have read that he is the biggest in the Country, and sells below MSRP.
If I could get a substantial reduction from MSRP I would definitively buy an LX570 to replace my 2006 LX470.
This time around I would look into financing.
The last few months I have been an avid reader of the new products that have come into market from Toyota like the new Land Cruiser, the new LX and the new Sequoia.
The LX570 has caught my fancy for very sweet and expensive candy.
