That blue belongs on a Rav4, not even kidding.

How about a dark or slate blue? A grey color? Maybe an attractive green? A saddle or darker khaki interior? I'm also sick of this drab dark grey color that Lexus calls "black". How about some TRUE black leather?

Lexus color palette is just getting so dull...I'm also thinking that they should have done a better job of designing and coloring certain parts of the interior. On the cashmere leather model I don't feel like there is enough contrast...it's ALL cashmere colored except for the very tops of the dash and the steering wheel.

That said though, the truck does look a lot better in these new colors than it did initially and I certainly have more hope now than I did before.

at work we had a land cruiser come in. basically the same thing as a LX570. there is like absolutely no trunk space at all. the design i think is not that great either, really plain and looks like a highlander on steroids lol. the MSRP on the land cruiser was 70k.

I think the Spinel with the Grey interior is alright with me . I agree with MPLexus301 about the lack of a truly black leather interior like LS430.
Is the body side molding an option ??
Where is the radio antenna ??

Have to agree with the smurf blue. It looks HORRENDOUS!!! What a disappointment. IMO the Black Sapphire Pearl (Dark Blue) that you can get on the IS, GS, LS would have been a better color choice. There is nothing luxurious about that color. To cartoonish.

What I have always noticed though is that the LX line for some reason never had a big color palette to choose from. 5-6 normal colors and thats it.

And +1 on the Lexus SUV "black" interior color when it is really a dark grey/charcoal. So LAME.

I really do like that tan interior. INCREDIBLY nice, but i dont think I would want anyone to step inside. It looks like a dirt magnet. That bright soft carpet will be black within a week. I think the Lexus "Black" carpet would look nice and offer a better contrast as well.

The Red and Black exterior colors are the two best colors for this SUV so far IMO.

Agreed on the Red and Black. Overall, I think they were too reserved with the exterior, but maybe that works with this crowd...the LX has never been a super looker. It seems like they updated GX styling onto the LX. I myself would have wished for a more futuristic/flagship SUV class styling.

Anyhow, the blue I think is the same as offered on the ES 350...there it looks great, but on the LX it does seem a little 'white elephant' -- although maybe in person it will be better.

I was wondering what the third row looks like? Would it be better to have second row 'Captain's Chairs' for better 3rd row access?

Also the Autospies vid of the camera system is interesting, it also has off-road utility!

No problem man.

You noticed that too huh?!?! I was wondering why else the blue truck looked so different. Its the only one without the chrome side molding on the side. It draws your eyes down and away from the chrome door handles which stick out like a sore thumb. I like that little trim.

I assume the antenna is a power retractable unit or embedded in the glass. I hope its the latter. Fixed and power antennas are so 1990's.

I know it's a poor job, but I wish they had done the interior more like these illustrations. I did them in paint but it's basically more wood and more grey to help the cashmere washout.

I was going to upgarde my GX to LS when leases over.... but looks like I have to find another car.... I don't feel like driving a extra large Highlander....
