guy says it fits my LX450, he sent me this, what does all of it mean? What if I went to lexus and asked for a supercharger or a turbocharger from them, would they have one? And should I turbocharge or supercharge? My engine is a 4.6L Inline 6 with 212hp and 275lb's of torque. Also, will this have any advers affects on my engine, i want my engine to last! The guy wants $286 for it.



It is a Garrett T3 Turbocharger with A.R.60 M11 compressor housing, A/R.63 M4 turbine housing. Internal wastegate, Water cooled. Good for 100-300 HP and up to
20 p.s.i. boost pressure.

This will make your engine run hotter and will cause detonation if you run too much boost. Above 7psi is risky unless you run a intercooler. The intercooler will make your car run cooler but because it is getting more horsepower your summer engine temps will be a little higher depending on how much boost you run. If you run 7or 8 psi boost you will be ok but above that with no intercooler you could damage your engine.

The wastegate on the turbo is set for 7 psi boost.
