Australian LX470 HVAC AIRCON code 41
Hello good people,
Australian delivered 2003 LX470 - I seem to having a little drama with the A/C - Passenger side is just blowing air (not cold), Drivers side is cold to ice cold.
Fridge in centre console is great
Rear air con is good, but not the typical Toyota cold we have come to expect.
I have done the "Hold down the Recic. and Auto buttons" - and get code 41, and code 21
Code 21 is from my understanding the 'sun sensor' thing - Well I checked the codes in the garage - so thats understandable.
But, for an australian Left hand drive vehicle, Im having a LOT OF TROUBLE "locating the Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit (Passenger Side)" - after having removed the glove box - I cant see any servo motors or anything resembling something equivalent.
Due to extreme temperatures of Far North Queensland - This is becoming an uncomfortable, draining issue, more so, for my passengers.
Any help, pictures, diagrams on where to locate the Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit (Passenger Side) - would be greatly appreciated.

Air con / HVAC CODE 41 - fixed and it wasn't the flap!
So, took the LX470 to my amazing mechanic -
$890AUD later, A new Air Conditioning evaporator unit, Drier unit, filter and both suction and discharge lines were replaced, along with more gas.
See the attached photo for what a rusting, leaking evaporator unit looks like.
This vehicle previously lived by the SEA SIDE
As you can see from the photo, half of the unit - was working OK for the driver, but the passenger side was failing miserably as per my initial post... So much for CODE 41 !!
COOL AIR - front, rear and refrigerator units working amazing now. Back to the renowned Toyota quality I had expected from this car
