Adding a subwoofer and ampt to stock stereo
Hey everyone I was wondering if it was possible to add a sub + amp to the stock stereo. I have an 03 lx 470. I remember being able to do this on my g35 where we simply piggyback off of the existing speaker cables and can connect any sub and it's own amp to the stock stereo using a rca type of connection. Anyone have any experience with this or how did you guys who adding a bigger size sub go about it? Thanks everyone!

Hey, eurodre, Ive done my 03 lx470. I just ran an power wire from the battery to the amp. It's an outlet in the back for chargers, use that for the remote wire to turn off the amp & simply ground it. Use the sub signal source for sound going thru the amp. Then adjust to your liking.

Hey, eurodre, Ive done my 03 lx470. I just ran an power wire from the battery to the amp. It's an outlet in the back for chargers, use that for the remote wire to turn off the amp & simply ground it. Use the sub signal source for sound going thru the amp. Then adjust to your liking.
