LX 470 '07 Expensive repair est??? $7200?
Our 2007 LX 470 has been a champ until recently many of the dash lights illuminated and a high pitch squeal emanated in the cabin. The brakes were inoperable.
We 3 months previously had an issue when we had our tires aligned and rotated and a warning light on the dash started flashing. We took it to a different tire dealer and they said the tires were very under inflated. They increased pressure to rec'd amounts and said the sensor on the spare tire was no good. They said the light would continue to flash until we had that sensor replaced, so it continued to flash, but car ran great.
Then the high pitched squealing, etc., started. Took to Toyota dealership (no Lexus dealership in our town) and they said the ABS is dead, and all kinds of other issues (one of which I knew was completely BOGUS) for a total estimate of $7200.00.
What to do??

Very expensive repair quote, no brakes, not drivable
The 2007 LX 470 has no brakes, a high pitched squealing/whining noise in the cabin and all kinds of dash lights flashing when you turn it on. It is not true to say that it is not drivable--it's just not stoppable. And the high-pitched noise and lights flashing in your face would make anyone lose his mind.
The Toyota dealership said the complete ABS assembly had to be replaced, along with our timing belt for a total of $7200.00. The timing belt had been replaced about 10,000 miles ago, so I knew that was not true.
Have no idea why entire brakes system would suddenly go out. It went out (with the noise and the flashing lights) a few weeks before and then it quit and ran fine for a couple of weeks. Now it is all back and won't quit and the car is sitting in our driveway. We have paid full insurance on a car that sits.
I don't have a lot of confidence in this dealership--I looked up their Court records and they seem to have a lot of litigation going on. I looked for any recalls and nothing of this nature that I could find.

The illuminated lights are brake light, the vsc track light, the vsc off light.
The flashing light is vgrs light.
Tire pressure light has been flashing for 6 months (see previous post).

I second that recommendation. The red flag for me is the fact that the stealership said you needed an expensive repair (or service) that you knew had just been done. Red flags are going up all over the place. Take it to another dealer or an independent Toyota or Lexus repair shop and see what they have to say.
