Hi,

Every things was fine driving on a good sunny day made a stop for fuel and after that audio is gone no audio from AM FM OR DVD navigation is working fine DVD picture is fine but no audio any one have gone through this problem any idea about the problem and repair cost.

DVD changer in 2002 can not play mp3 any one have changed it with one which can play mp3 as well does it worth changing. any idea about the cost as well.

Working through something similar on my 2006 LX470 right now. Sounds like your amp is toast. The symptoms of mine-at key on stereo will have audio for up to 45 seconds or so. Then there is static out of the front passenger speaker for a few seconds and then no audio. Navigation and Hands Free Bluetooth phone still produces audio through the front drivers speaker. I got a new amp from E Gus Mancy (egusman-at-woh.rr.com) much cheaper than I could find anywhere else (less than half of what I could find a refurbished one for). I'm going to install the new amp tonight and I'll post my results.

Just thought I'd post an update. I received the amp and got it installed. Stereo is back to working as it should. I need to give credit to E Gus Mancy for the fast shipping on the replacement. The amp was sent priority mail so I had it three days after he shipped it. The biggest benefit from purchasing through him is that he shipped the amp out on approval-you don't pay for it until it's installed and working. He guaranteed his amp for four years too. I had a great experience and saved a lot of money purchasing the replacement through E Gus Mancy.
