Your factory electrical plug bracket is different than mine. Mine has two holes for mounting to bottom bumper steel. Your's appears to have only one.

Furthermore, after the receiver is mounted on my 2003 LX470, both threaded holes are covered by the receiver, leaving no place to attach the factory electrical plug plate.

Which model and year do you have? .

I have a 2004 LX470.

I'm pretty sure the mounting bracket has two holes on the lip that is tucked between the bumper cover and the actual bumper. As I recall, I drilled the single hole, where the bolt is visible. I think there were existing holes in the bumper so I didn't have to drill and tap any new holes (they might have been the holes where the plate was originally mounted).

I also think I flipped the plug in the bracket 180 degrees so that the front of the plug is where the back of the plate originally was.

In hindsight, I wish I had taken pictures of the whole process to make it easier for others...
