LX470 Transmission problem
Hi there,
I'm new to this website and my transmission made me look for some advice. I was driving on the freeway and started to hear a rattle. As I proceeded to exit the freeway my car made really bad grinding noises and slips out of gear. After I came to a stop the car would not go into drive or reverse. Is this a common issue with my LX470 2001? I'm afraid that I will need a new or rebuilt transmission. I have about 150k miles. I love everything about my suv except the gas mileage.
