Default Exhaust Manifold LX470
My LX470 (2000) has a cracked right front exhaust manifold. Is this a tough repair?

I know that ours cracked and we brought it to the dealer and they replaced both for just about a grand. Repairs on the lx were costly no matter where we went because no one wants to work on them (at least thats how it is near me) so we just brought it to the dealer.

That sounds about right, about $1K EACH. Supposedly, they redesigned them in '03.

Got the same thing on my 2000 lx. I feel your pain. I was told it doesn't affect performance but I do find it annoying.

Replace with the Doug Thorley header to at least get some power gain.
