My driver side window suddenly move off track and I am thinking to remove the door panel to see if I can make it back to the track. But I have trouble to remove the window/lock switch panel. I read somewhere that it pops up from the front but I could not make it. Does it require a lot of force? I am scared to damage it if improper force is used.

I got stuck on this for a minute. You need a flat head screwdriver ans slip it between the window control unit and the door panel from the front there is a metal tab that must be pushed in. Once you get this pushed in it should pull straight up.
