I have 2001 LX470. It has after market Radio and some time ago the Mark Levinson AMP died on me so I bypass that AMP and using Radio AMP for now.
I went to Lexus Dealer couple days ago to see if they can replace my ML AMP ... so after some days they told me I have to replace Radio and ML AMP together because After Market Radio has different system [2 ohm] and ML system has 13 ohm system so that AMP will burn in future if the radio is was replaced with it. But that would cost me around $1800. He also suggested to see if I can install AMP from other co and replace all the speakers too and that way it wold be cheaper.
Now my question is can I get ML Radio from somewhere? So that I can istall the ML AMP and don't have to replace all the speakers?
Can anyone suggest what other AMP I can buy [which would be close to ML AMP?]
