I too installed the HID headlights and fogs after seeing this post. Made the change in Feb 2011, and have loved them. No regrets, a great upgrade.

Enjoy! Im a fan of 3000k HID Kits in the fogs as well =)

Low beams looks great as well but I would be afraid to get pulled over.

If an HID bulb goes, can it be relaced with a diffeent brand? Can a bulb be replaced with one of a different colour temerature?

I just had lows and fogs installed by a company called NMotion in Burnaby BC. Very pleased with the product and service so far. Colour temp is 6000K. Would have liked 4300K. However, they claim they are actually much less that the spec 6000K, and so therefore whiter.

Hi Bruce,

What do you mean by "They are actually much less that the spec 6000k, and therefore whiter?"

I'd like 4300k for the headlights and whatever you recommend for the fogs. I would like 4300 for the fogs also, unless you thought it was too much.

4300k would definitely be the best choice for the low beams to gain maximum light output. How do you feel about 3000k (yellow) for the fogs?
