I just had mine done. I have the same feeling as the last 2 posts. The steering is a tiny bit tighter. But I wouldn't say it's tight. It's just fine.

i dont know where you get 45 minutes from but if they are doing the recall correctly then no way. it pays us 1.9 and fastest any ones done one in my shop it 3 hrs. it requires romoving the steering wheel, lower dash, steering column and disassemling the vgrs on the column, the worst is the rust on the slip yoke of the intermediate shaft but i guess that could be due to the fact im in new york. i just dont see it possible in 45 minutes. we have had ones that have taken 6 hours due to rust and corrosion. it is not an easy recall. ive done 4 of them so far

weactually only get 1.9 hours. it probly took 4 hours to do it but we have to eat the time we lose as techs

Had mine done couple weeks ago, steering definitely is tighter. I prefer it.
