Default How are change oil on 05 LX470. Thanks

I found two places of draining oil. I drained both of them, one had more dark oil, one had less clean oil (I think).

I am sure I did right thing or not. Now, I don't what to do. Help, please!!!

Before you do anything I would pull the transmission dip stick wipe it off put it back in pull it out and see what level it is at and then off course do the same for the oil if both are OK warm up the engine go for a slow ride nothing to fast and re check the transmission if OK then enjoy yourself. If the second plug was sort of in back of the oil plug you may have drained the transmission. I think the owners manual might tell you what you opened up.

You drained the transmission and the engine oil! Very common in the beginning with new GX owners. Dont drive it till the trannie is tanked back up.

Unfortunately, after '04, Toyota got rid of the transmission fluid dipstick when they went to the WS type fluid. So not only do you have to refill the tranny pan w/ fluid, the fill hole is typically on the side of the tranny pan. You generally fill it until fluid starts to overflow from the fill hole, but I do know the GX uses an unusual overflow hole on the bottom of the pan! As the previous post mentions, do NOT drive it until you've replaced both fluids, or you will destroy the engine and tranny!
