My wife's '06 LX's 2nd-row passenger-side seat-back makes the most annoying squeaky rattle noise whenever we're moving. I took out the headrest to see if that was what was squeaking, and the seat still squeaked. I'm now driving it with the seat folded down, which eliminates the noise, but obviously isn't the ideal fix. It's driving me crazy; thank G-d the snow's melting and I'll be back in my SC soon . Anyone have/had this problem?
P.S. She's got 18K (the truck, not my wife).

ya i got the same issue and i have wondered the same thing, but i have just learned to live with it. maybe someone else could chip in

Perhaps the part of the seat that fastens/clamps to the floor? It is metal to metal.

I have also noticed but only a few times.

I have you check with the Lexus dealer ?

Not yet... my SC is in service and this LX is going in next week. I'm sure they'll cover it under warranty... just wanted to know if anyone else has or had the same problem and if there's an easy fix... I'll post whatever the result is after service.

I have the same issue in my 06 LX470. I do notice that if I put something on the seat, with some weight, or if somebody is sitting in the 2nd row the noise disappears.

I have the same issue with my 04. The second row seat shakes, causing rubbing of the leather and resulting in squeaks. The problem goes away when there is weight on the seat.

I'm taking my car into the dealer tomorrow for an oil change and to have my front door trim replaced. I'll let you know what they say.

Same problem here. Solution is to have someone sit in the 2nd row.

Nothing to report from the dealer. They didn't know how to fix the problem. I'll just have to turn up my music

lol... mine does the same thing after that fat@ss lady that sat in my car f---k'd it up.

guess lexus does not like fat ppl to be riding in it; it's not like ford, build tough??? LOL!

more like afterwards... with the squeeky sound the seat makes, it sounded as if the seat is begging to be taken out of the car and never to let anyone sit on it ever again....
