2004 LX470 - 131k miles - I just bought it a couple months ago and just completed the 120k service - runs like a champ. I hope to be in the million miler club one day.

These are actually one of very few vehicles that will give you 500k+ miles of trouble free driving just on factory recommended service. They are so over built plus they are built in one of the few factories in the world that is Platium quality rated by JD Powers and by people that have to earn the right to work in this factory. They take great pride in their work. It is also one of the safest vehicles you can drive, based on testing done in other countries. Guess we don't get enough here to be tested.

Congrat's, can you tell us at what mileage you bought yours and with that large number of miles what parts have failed and needed replacing. I think your information would help all of us, to know what to look for down the road. Thanks for posting

although mine is a 2001 landcruiser, I thought I could chime in. Just turned over 200,000 miles. All service either at Toyota or Lexus dealerships at 5000 miles. Nothing major other than synthetic oil changes, brakes, timing belt every 90k. Had the water pump changed out for the first time at 180k and tech said the pump was still in good shape-no leaks what so ever. Tires every 80k or so-just put on another set of Michelins. Mine has mostly highway miles -swap back and forth from 93 to 89 octane with not much noticeable difference between the two. I had the front end repacked a few times but not recently-tech checks play in front end and advises to hold on to my money since I don't do any off roading with it. Also, I change tranny fluid (drain and refill) every 30k. Plan on keeping it another few years.
