Default Nav Screen Malfunction HELP :(

Recently my 2004 LX 470 is giving a weird problem, all of a sudden the screen will go blank with functions only minimized to info etc and no air con, phone or gps menu can be accessed. But it starts working after few mins and then again goes blank and then comes back. I have sent it to local dealer here in Bangladesha and they dont know what to do as when they checked the connections nothing happened and it was fine. What do i do? I read somewhere the Nav computer seems to die. I need to know if its the NAV computer or just the nav screen. Screen seems to be fine when the display comes so i guess its the nav computer. Pls suggest anyone?

There is a TSB out for '04 Land Cruisers and LX 470s. There is a problem with the multi-function display.

I had the same happen to my '04 Land Cruiser. The link is below.

The screen needs to be replaced with a new one that Toyota redesigned. Hopefully you're still in warranty because the part alone costs $5000!

Good luck.
