Aux CD Changer in 1999 LX470

hey guys, sorry, i couldn't find the answer anywhere... is it possible to add an auxilary CD changer to the Nakimichi head unit in a 99LX470? my changer is dead, and rather than replace it, i figured i'd just dump a new changer in the console... can it be done directly or am i going to need an FM modulator?
