the difference looks minimal. lets try to get a group buy on this if possible.

if we d/c the oem 3rd brake light and maybe black it out?

well i have black, so that might work for me. Any other ideas? I guess a body shop could shave it, but that might be more expensive.

another question would be the strength of the tailgate rods, i wonder what the weight difference is on our crappy spoilers?

I'm in Dallas, I should just see how much the out the door, installed price is from Sewell Stealership.

Sewell quoted us $572 I believe.

The first ebay spoiler doesn't come down in a smooth line. It comes down, then cuts in, with about an inch of flat edge at the bottom. Not close enough to OE for me. The Spoilersmart is the only replica I've seen that I would consider buying.

As far as the 3rd light, I don't really see what the big deal is. Just leave it. Who's going to be looking up under your spoiler and say, "dude you have a 3rd brake light because your spoiler is fake". Disco the power if you don't want double lighting at night.

The Spoilersmart one quotes 4-6 lbs.

Screw it. I'm going to order one in a couple of weeks. This weekend I'm at the Renaissance Festival and next week I'm in the ATL for a Falcons game. The weekend after that I'll plan on having it and installing it.

suhyuk1214, you mean my deflector thing? Dunno, maybe I'll ebay it or something. Hadn't thought about it at all.

1loudLX, hey man if you feel like you're dragging, you said it, not me

In all seriousness, I've been wanting to address the spoiler issue for a while and I might as well take one for the team and see how this particular vendor's are.

I might take the plunge and try that one. I have a guy that would paint it for $120-ish.

Looks just like mine. That is a good price too.
