Not yet... other things got in the way. But like I said, if there's a group buy I'll prolly do it... But the blankenshipaero price of $395 looks like a good buy. What do you think ?

I wonder what they would do for the spoiler not installed. Also, is it me, or does it seem to sit higher and is rounder?

Yes it does sit higher and rounder... good observation... but who would notice anyways as long as it looks good.

BTW, blankenshipaero has an office in LA and there contact number is 310-216-5850

I guess I noticed because I don't like it as much. I like it flat across the top rather than a round "handle". Too Supra/Eclipse-ish.

FYI, here is what Carson Toyota responded to me:

GARNISH PLATE (PRE PAINTED) 56.00 RETAIL 44.00 CL PRICE **NOTE SURE IF THIS IS THAT PLATE YOU MENTIONED**
So the base price is $567 + shipping? Not sure what the garnish plate is.

garnish plate is to replace the 3rd brake light that we have now. It fills the gap so you dont have two third brake lights mounted. I just saw a 06 next to mine, ugh i love that FLAT spoiler.
If anyone wants to trade their 2006/2007 for mine, please ied be glad to, hhah

Maybe the '07 trim is better... I don't really mind...

Should we consider this the "group-buy" price then ???

Prices dont seem bad. I think they are giving it to us at nearly cost to them. Maybe a few bucks just to cover themselves but nothing crazy.

We also need to find out how it's mounted, and if the wind deflector mounts will leave holes; i.e. will we also need to do body work to fill in those holes.

I wonder if we could get a scan of the mounting instructions.

Hmmm...that is so odd with pricing and availability everyone seems to be writing about. When we drove to Houston to pick up my wife's 2003 LX we called two days before picking it up and had Northside Lexus install the factory spoiler. Their parts department had it in stock and we were charged $399 for the spoiler including installation. Now maybe they gave us a better price because we were purchasing a vehicle from them, but we didn't ask for any "extra" discount.

Man, I really need to learn how to post pics on this board. I'd love to show you all picks of our GS and LX parked in a standard 2 car garage! It's quite impressive and we even have some good space between the two vehicles!

The spoiler mounts with 4 bolts that are drilled into the upper hatch. As far as that wind deflector....i dont know if they both mount to the same location.

I have a PDF File with the mounting instructions if any one cares to see it, shoot me an email at 1loudlx@gmail.com

It looks like you cant remove the spoiler afterwords and put the orginal 3rd brake light in. Once you put the spoiler on, it spoils the tailgate.
