On one hand Lexus has already registered the name JX470 as a Sequoia-based SUV in recent trademark filings, on the other hand they're still continuing to update the LX, with even a rumor of a LX600h coming out in May 2007 reported.
I guess the JX will co-exist with the LX in the lineup after all. Lexus as an LSUV leader just can't seem to have enough SUVs, not that it's a bad thing anyway.
