Hello, I just got my LX470. I love the GPS navigation system, however, the map and details are limited, does anyone know of updates, software, CD, DVD, to expand the coverage.

I, too, am interested in upgrading nav software for my 2001 LX470; is the most recent upgrade compatible with the hardware in the '01? If not, how recent is the best update that IS compatible? Also, the surface of the touch-screen is beginning to look kinda funky - can it be revitalized ?

If either one of you lives in or around Austin, TX don't waste your money on the DVD NAV updates. My service writer tells me that there are no significant changes to our area. We are so neglected, but I guess with all the new roads going in up here in Round Rock and then all that mess down by HWY-290 and TX-71, Toyota/Lexus deems it too early to update this central Texas area. Ouch, growing pains!
