I read a recent article in the WSJ where they were mentioning Toyota's push into the hybrid vehicle market. In the article they mentioned an upcoming new Lexus LX model with a hybrid engine (I think they called it the LX 400h, if not mistaken).
Does anyone know any more details about this new model? BTW, the article mentioned that it would be out next year.

I think you must be thinking about the RX400h. Same as RX330 but with hybrid power train

I knew that Lexus was coming out with a hybrid RX model, but the article specifically said "LX". And since they were saying that Toyota was trying to increase substantially their presence with hybrid vehicles I was wondering if indeed they have a new LX model in the works.
Come to think about it, they did not mention the upcoming RX model in the article, so maybe they just got confused.

Yeah they most likely typo'd. The new RXh is due in the showroom around early '05 so that's most likely it.
