Default Rear HDMI and Micca Speck G2 Media Player

Has anyone been able to get the Micca media player to work with the HDMI connector in the rear? I read a thread that someone got it to work with RCA connection (older rear entertainment), but I cannot get the Micca player to work with the HDMI connection. Please help.

Try hooking it up to your TV and changing the resolution to 720p (or 480p). It may be trying to output in 1080p.

The problem is that the Micca resets to auto (for hdmi) when you unplug it. On the remote, you can preset the AV/HDMI to cycle through the different setting, but it still does not work.

When I plug my Dell E7240 with hdmi connect to the Lexus system, it works just fine. I do not have an ipod/ipad to test, but I think it will work too. I think it has something to do with having a more expensive video card to auto-negotiate and bring the signal down to 576p (480p).

Another question I have is the AUX port. Page 148 says I could use a 4 pole jack for A/V (ipod video). Is the rear AUX port the same? The Micca player also has a 4 pole jack, and I tried a male to male 4 pole to the rear AUX, but no luck.

I tried Roku Ultra via HDMI too, and no luck. All it displays are a bunch of noisy lines. Has anyone have luck with any media player via HDMI for the Lexus? The quest continues . . .
