Default All new LX

Now, that the all new LS is out, will Lexus turn towards new LX? I sure hope so! What do you guys think?
I'm itching to go after 2017 LX but I'm "trying" to hold until new platform is released. 2020 or maybe sooner?

I am also in the "wait and see" camp. The LX 470 lasted 10 years (1998-2007). The LX 570 has been produced for 10 years as well. I believe it will last one more year, for sure, maybe more. 2020 is not a bad guess, IMHO.

Hopefully they don't go the downsized turbo six route. (Navigator 3.5L TT egoboost anyone?) I would prefer a smaller, naturally aspirated V8 UR engine instead.
There is much additional technology such as direct injection, cylinder deactivation, and more that might be applied.

Wrong.

Lexus does not have to compete with the Raptor. It is in a different class.

I can not see people who are looking for an LX considering a Raptor instead.

So you think the average LX driver is comparing his engine and tranny to the Raptor? LOL!

Your thinking is so skewed towards turbos it has pushed you away from common sense.
