You probably will get many differing opinions, but since you ask, I prefer Mobil1 0w40 synthetic. But I think the more important thing to do is to increase the frequency of your oil change.

The official Toyota spec in North America for this engine is 0W20. What does your oil fill cap say?

The 0W40 synthetic is what I used in my MB.

BUT NOT IN TOYOTA OR LEXUS.

Toyota /Lexus calls for 0W20 synthetic.

No, Crisco oil is the one to use. More natural. Not synthetic! !!
