2014-LX570 -Driver side door issue after FOB battery died.
Hello Everyone ,
I am new here. I have a 2014 - LX570 . Before the battery went week on FOB, I had no issue. I have changed the battery and everything seems to be working fine except the driver side door locking and unlocking. The fob and the switch on the armrest inside lock and unlock everything other then driver door. Even when the truck is put out P or driving everything locks but driver.
I can lock using the key and unlock, that also arms the alarm. But since the driver door is not locking for FOB the alarm doesnt arm either.
I do hear something clicking in the door when I try locking with switch or FOB.
Any suggestion or what am I over looking ?
HELP

I have been reading of forum . Many people have had driver door lock actuator issues on other Lexus older vehicles. I have not found anything on LX on it yet. I did call Park Place Lexus today and they do not have appointment with loner till next of next week. I feel like there must be a quick fix, I did check fuses they do seem ok.
Any helpful suggestion will be highly appreciated , as it seems members on forum have more knowledge then dealer.

Sounds like the actuator in the drivers door is broken.

I would try a FOB reset procedure that came up in a thread about 1-2 months ago, where someone could not start their car after getting a new FOB.
My prior '98 LX had an issue with the actuator where if parked in the sun on a hot day, it would not unlock with the FOB. Otherwise, it always worked perfectly.
