Looking to purchase a LX570 to replace my 2008 X5. I currently have a 2013 GS350 and really like nearly everything about the car. My wife does too.

Which year did they do the facelift? Which year has the newer nav and Bluetooth system? Are there any other differences between years? Any to avoid?

Buy the truck, I went from an 04 ES 330 to a 2013 LX 570 (refresh model), it is an awesome vehicle.

Nav is very dated but a modern iPhone or Android will smoke just about any infotainment system out there even 2017 model years, Carplay and Android Auto being the only exception but Toyota and Lexus are holding off on that so far for the 2016 lineup. Get an AC vent mount for your phone for these functions and you are good.

Bluetooth streaming in 2011 and some Nav updates a bit later, but most everyone uses phones for Nav, for good reason.

2011s are probably best value dollar-wise, if you can find a Texas/Arizona/California low miles truck. 2013 is a sweet spot with few changes after that until 2016. Most of the 2015-2015s I looked at last October did have Collision Avoidance as a standard 'option'. Was hit or miss on 2013, if that's important to you.

For whatever reason, electronics updates seemed to always behind the curve on the LX compared to the other higher volume cars, i.e., whatever is implemented the first year rarely changes for the next 6-7.

Unless you are going 2016, I'd use your budget as a guide and just buy the latest year/lowest mileage sunbelt truck you can find.
