Default Modellista Japan 2016 LX570

Hello, I am new here and wondered of any had a chance to mod their 2016 LX570? Check out this link:

I have a contact over there and wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a possible group buy for a 2016 LX570?

And for the rim and tires guys, what would be the best fit for rims? I have 21 inch now, if you go 24, would that be a no no?

Just thinking outloud... thanks!

It's both beyond ugly, not to mention the LX already has the aerodynamics of a brick wall.

How much for the kit, and how much to install the kit?

I'd skip the kit and simply go all the way with a convertible...LX Convertible

You'll need at least 24" wheels to complement the kit.

We'll need pics when complete.

There is no doubt we have different tastes than the people who came up with this mod.

Just 24s? That's a little too conservative, I was thinking the 30" Diablos.

I think that you purchased a wrong vehicle. You should buy Escalade.

Even better, I've got a spare set of 38's if needed...they should work better than street tires if you venture out of the mall...road noise will probably excessive.

Escalade..."the truck that brings the ghetto to suburbia". Probably cheaper in the long run.

The modellista kit is about 5K from Japan, and about 1k to install it, depends where you live.

It's actually a more subtle change than I would expect from a kit as the car is so aggressively styled as is.

Last weekend, I was dinking around Club Lexus and found a section related to something called "VIP-Style".

From what I think I understood, this subculture is primarily in Japan, and composed of gasgster wannabes...i.e., similar to Long Island La Familia wannabes. Is that the market that Modellista is targeting?

Sorry, I'm confused.

You got it right.

Real VIPs will never call themselves a VIP or call their car a "VIP" car.

I can think of better ways to spend 6,000 dollars. Certainly the wheels will be the most noticeable thing about your truck and is where you should probably start.

Not sure about the yellow.

Needs more bling, Diablos are really the only way to go.
