Yes, of course I know that RX NX are more popular models everywhere. I talk about LX just because we started our work with this model, and later we will try to do the same for RX. But of course I don't know our work will be finished successful or we're just wasting our time, and such devices are impossible for Lexus 😀

You can look at the production numbers for the LX (and the Landcrusier) Very few are sold globally, and the in the US the market for the 570 has been very thin. Smaller dealers have never stocked on a full time basis. Also, ask anyone who has looked for a used model.....you are most likely to find them in Texas, where they have done far better.....As far as I know the key market for the LX is: Russia, UAE, KSA, .... Australia is strictly LC/diesel. The US is a big market, but the penetration rate is incredibly low for the models within the brand, and within the luxury SUV category. The NX, RX and GX do far better.
Land Cruiser 200 ( 121,500 )
Lexus LX 570 ( 28,600 )
Combined ( 150,100 )
No doubt global sales have increased after the 2016 update.
Strongest market is the Middle East ( GCC countries )

More specifically, to address the OP's question re US market.....They sell only 3000 LC units and 4000 LX units per year in the US. So, US is not the primary market.

OP sorry for going off topic

The Land Cruiser, and to a lesser extent the LX, may not have the raw hp and technology of Rover and MBZ products, but an extra hundred HP, collision avoidance, sequential turn signals, and one's ability to check Facebook don't matter much when you're actually using the truck as its designers intended.
Though I'd still take a Defender were it offered.

what if one burns out? would you have to change the whole board? or a single led? i bet it will come to the USA mid year refresh! as its a expensive piece like them triple leds on the RCF, NX200T, LS460H

im not buying the argument that the lack of progressive turn signals on LEXUS vehicle in us is due to regulation.
have people here seen the 2017 audis? all with progressive turn signals. somethings rotten in denmark!
2017 605hp Audi RS7 Performance - details, launch, acceleration, interior - YouTube
2017 Audi RS6 Performance blacked out 605hp - exterior, interior, acceleration etc - YouTube

After about 10 seconds of thinking about it, progressive turn signals are probably the last thing I'd worry about.

As much as I would like the progressive turn signals it is not that important to me. You can even see them when driving and I have bad feelings about anything "progressive" now.
