that's sick...love that color and how it complements the new grille design. looks like it's time to update your signature (which says '10 LX)... i have a '10 now that we just paid off but am starting to salivate over the '16's.

I think that LX looks much better here than outside a shopping mall :-)

I have 16 LC and wheels look good on it. Somehow 16 LC wheels on LX in the last picture look weird. For sure much better choice for off-roading.

I worry that the LX bumper is a problem. It was not designed for off-roading and when you see it, you expect a mall crawler with 21" :-) Also I use slightly bigger tires on these 18" LC wheels - 275/65R18 (Tundra/Sequoia size). They have about 0.7" bigger diameter than LC tires (285/60R18). But I don't care so much how it looks. Believe me, you do not want to drive here on these beautiful 21" :-)
Unfortunately, for me, LC was not an option although I would prefer its bumper. I have a modified Jeep on 35" tires for difficult off-roading and LX is my daily driver. I tested LX vs LC and LX drives better probably because of the adaptive suspension. LX also has a full speed range dynamic cruise control (LC does not work under 25 mph). And Mark Levinson audio is also worth some money :-)

Finally, winter is coming to Sierra Nevada mountains. Time to test tires on snow.

A fresh detail, tint and some vinyl to hide the chrome!

Headless, your LX looks really nice! Much better than with stock 20 or 21" wheels. What is the tire size?

These are 285/70R17 BFG KO2s on the Tundra Rock Warrior wheels. I have been very happy with this setup.

Flat rack installed this weekend and new front bumper should be here Friday. Should be interesting cutting up my stock bumper.

little more protection up front. hoops are removable and are probably going to be painted black or silver to make them less shiny when I do use them.
